I keep my client list short so that I can get to know your setup and your needs. When something breaks, you're talking to someone who already understands it, not a random help desk.
My clients are places where IT matters but there isn't enough work for a full-time hire. We set a steady rhythm: a monthly check-in, a quarterly review, an annual plan.
